Content Developers (20+ Positions)

The content developer will be responsible for working on a range of development projects and initiatives at all levels. Current projects are underway at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels, with a large elementary course development project starting this fall. Bayfield Design has a special interest in candidates with qualifications or experience at the elementary level in the following areas:

  • Health & Physical Education
  • Social Studies, Geography, and History
  • Science and Technology
  • Language

The content developer will work as part of a team to write and/or develop and design course content for various projects. There are approximately 20 full-time, permanent positions available, with 20+ additional full-time set term contract positions available. Full-time and contract positions will be determined at Bayfield Design's discretion. All work will currently be completed remotely.

  • Bachelor of Education OR equivalent relevant experience/qualifications

Multimedia Positions Overview

Bayfield Design is offering a series of exciting opportunities for innovative and creative individuals who are interested in applying their multimedia skills to the field of online education. The multimedia team is responsible for working collaboratively to create and design graphic, motion graphic, and audiovisual assets for internal and client projects. Typical project work is for the K-12 and post-secondary levels, with some work happening for marketing and promotional initiatives. This fall, Bayfield Design will be starting a large-scale project to build out a suite of elementary courses and is looking to scale its multimedia team to meet the anticipated demands. There will be a select number of full-time, permanent positions offered as well as several full-time, set-term contract positions. For any set-term contract position, there is the possibility of a permanent position being offered following the initial contract term.

Motion Designer – Filmed Video

Human Resources Assistant

Bayfield Design is recruiting a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join its growing team of professionals. We're looking for someone with a bit of experience in the HR world who is also ready to learn the ins and outs of our growing company. The successful candidate will work as part of a small HR team to assist with recruitment efforts, staff onboarding and training, employee relations, team building, and handling issues as they arise.

Project Manager

Bayfield Design is seeking applications for a professional project manager to join its growing team. The project manager will work directly with our content project leads and content development team to oversee and facilitate technical project management tasks. This includes establishing an effective project workflow in collaboration with project leads, creating project governance documentation, establishing and maintaining a project schedule, identifying and managing changes and risks to project timelines and goals, and interacting with various clients regarding project status updates. The project manager will interact with the business development and management teams to enable new project launches and ensure client projects are set up for success.

Copy Editor

Bayfield Design is recruiting a copy editor to its team of educators and creative professionals. We're looking for someone who has experience in the field of writing and copy-editing in English and a desire to work in a fast-paced, small business environment. As a copy editor, you will lead efforts to ensure Bayfield Design's products and communications are polished and concise—and ideally, throw in some creative flair along the way.

You will be responsible for copy-editing various types of content for videos, brochures, flyers, letters, emails, elementary courses, high school courses, and more. With so much content being produced, we will rely on your exceptional English skills to add creativity and quality assurance to our products and communications.

Compensation: $45,000–$50,000 (commensurate on education and experience), group benefits program, RRSP matching program

Role

Bayfield Design is looking for a copy editor who has the following:

  • A degree in English Literature, Journalism, or equivalent certification or experience
  • Two to three years of professional writing experience
  • Impeccable grammar and spelling and a strong attention to detail
